Pleated depth filter cartridges by RENNER

RENNER pleated depth filter cartridges / membrane filter cartridges

Features

The microfibers used in the pleated depth filter cartridges are particularly uniform and are thermally joined to form a homogeneous filter layer. The resulting micro-polypropylene filter matrix is regarded as the most effective depth cartridge filter and has the highest efficiency for fine particles extremely difficult to filter.

Applications

  • Ultrapure water
  • Beverage industry
  • Fine chemicals
  • Semiconductor industry
  • Cosmetics
  • Pure chemicals

Other properties

The microfiber filter matrix cannot be detected with the naked eye; it seems more like a closed filter layer.
The fine depth filter layer is clearly visible only under the microscope.

The long service life of these extremely fine filter cartridges is possible due to the pleating of the thin filter medium by which a particularly large filter surface is created.

Areas of application

Considering all their advantages, the pleated depth filter cartridges are mainly used in desalinated ultrapure water for beverages and foodstuffs, cosmetics or for high purity chemicals in the semiconductor industry.
